Product schema guide for Shopify stores

Most Shopify themes print basic Product markup already. The fields usually missing are shipping details, return policy, and review markup. Those three are exactly what assistants ask about before recommending a purchase.

Check what you have

Run an Agent Ready audit and read the schema section. It lists the fields found and missing on your sampled product pages.

Fill the gaps without code

1. Install a schema app such as Schema Plus for SEO and enable shipping and returns output.
2. Install a reviews app such as Judge.me or Loox so ratings appear in the markup.
3. Set a clear shipping policy and refund policy under Settings, Policies, so the markup has somewhere to point.

With code

In Online Store, Themes, Edit code, the product template can include a JSON-LD block with offers, shippingDetails, and hasMerchantReturnPolicy. Test on one product first.
